Spring Football Feature Alex Atkins was going to be a state trooper. Entering college his freshman year at UT-Martin, Atkins didn't know what to major on. Figuring there was never a shortage on teachers or police officers, he studied history and criminal justice. "When I first got out of college, I took the State Trooper exam, I was going to be a police officer," Atkins said.
