CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Softball closed out the three-game series with an exciting 8-5 win over UTSA to secure the Niners' fourth consecutive conference series win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Roadrunners struck first, scoring one in the top of the first inning on a bases-loaded walk to open the game up 1-0. Charlotte responded in the bottom of the second, also scoring their first run on a bases-loaded walk to even the game at 1-1.
Charlotte used this momentum in their favor and put up two more runs in the bottom of the third courtesy of a Teagan Ritchie (16) long ball to put the Niners up 3-1.
