CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Softball fell to USF twice in a doubleheader Saturday afternoon with a final score of 1-9 in game one and 3-12 (5 Inn.) in game two to close out the Niners' opening home conference series.
GAME ONE
Aubrey Yarnall started in the circle in game one, and she got off to a hot start, pitching a scoreless first that included two strikeouts. The Niners got a good look in the bottom of the first with the bases loaded and one out, but a double play (leading the American) from USF ended the inning and the scoring threat.
