CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Men's Tennis again used a standout singles slate on Friday to down Youngstown State 5-2 at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.

It marked the program's second consecutive win in which the team dropped the opening doubles point before rallying to capture at least five singles wins, moving its record to 6-5 this spring.

The doubles point came down to a tiebreak in the No. 2 slot. Ivan Dreycopp and Frederic Schlossmann battled before falling 7(7)-6(4) to clinch the opening tally for the Penguins.
