CHARLOTTE -- Charlotte Women's Soccer head coach Brandi Fontaine announced on Thursday afternoon (Jan. 9) the hiring of Sinead Byrne as the 49ers new assistant coach.
"I am very excited to welcome Sinead to the Niner Nation family," Fontaine said. "Sinead brings a wealth of experience when it comes to recruiting, running training sessions, working with goalkeepers, film analysis, as well as many other facets of helping run a program. We are very fortunate to get someone of her caliber to join our staff and we have no doubt she will bring new things to help elevate our program.
