CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte head women's soccer coach John Cullen has announced the addition of Luke Sheekey to his coaching staff as an assistant coach, while at the same time the elevation of veteran Kim Cardelle to the program's top assistant coaching position.
SHEEKEY RECENT COACHING BACKGROUND
Sheekey joins the 49ers for the 2020 campaign after serving the last four years (2016-19) as the head women's soccer coach at Delta State, an NCAA Division II institution in the Gulf South Conference located in Cleveland, Mississippi.
He compiled 25 victories during his tenure and guided the Lady Statesmen to their first ever appearance in the league tournament this past fall.
