HOUSTON – Charlotte women's soccer did not have a shot attempt until the 41st minute but it made the most of the opportunity, as junior Haley Shand netted the game's only goal and the 49ers' defense stonewalled several North Texas offensive chances in a 1-0 Niners victory Tuesday afternoon in the Conference USA Championships Quarterfinals.
