CHARLOTTE -- The final game of the season-opening series between Charlotte Baseball and Northeastern has been canceled, with no makeup date scheduled.
Sustained rain Saturday and early Sunday morning made Hayes Stadium unplayable for the rubber match between the Niners (1-1) and Huskies (1-1). Charlotte is back in action on Tuesday (Feb. 18) at Wofford and returns home to Hayes Stadium next weekend to face Old Dominion for a three-game set beginning next Friday (Feb. 21).
Tickets for the final game of the series against Northeastern can be exchanged for any future 49ers baseball game this season.
