CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Nine seniors were honored Saturday during the Charlotte Invitational at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center.
Yasmine Artis, Victoria Ebert, Brittany Plummer, Jasmine Trogdon, Elizabeth Wood, Drew Barker, Nathan Jeffers, James Myers and Saadiq Sweezer competed in front of the home fans one last time.
Keon Howe and Elijah Cole battled for bragging rights in the pole vault event as the tandem sailed to the top-two spots. Howe won the event with a facility record, a personal best mark and breaking his own school record.
