STILLWATER, Okla. - In the Charlotte 49ers men's cross country team's first NCAA Cross Country Championships appearance, the Niners placed 28th as a team with sophomore Nick Scudder leading all Charlotte runners with a 76th-place finish.
"Getting to nationals is a really huge accomplish," head coach Joseph Lynn said. "I'm really proud of how the team stay focused and put together the season we did after trying to navigate the season with COVID, competing in cross country in the fall while also focusing on indoor in the winter, and having nationals in the back of our mind.
