TEMPE, Ariz. – Charlotte sophomore women's tennis sophomore standout Ruxi Schech became the first player to earn a postseason Oracle/ITA national singles ranking, as she was slotted at No. 119 in the final listings announced this week by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
RANKINGS IN 2021
Schech, a Frankfurt, Germany, native made her splash during her first full collegiate campaign – after the 2020 season was truncated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She initially made a dent in the national rankings March 24, landing at No. 60 as the highest-ranked player in school history.
