SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Charlotte women's tennis withstood a strong Wofford start in doubles then used the bottom half of its singles lineup to garner a 4-0 victory Saturday morning. The 49ers are in Spartanburg for a full day of action in their third doubleheader of the campaign.
FRESHMEN LEAD RALLY IN DOUBLES
The Niners trailed early in doubles, as the Terriers claimed the first match on the No. 3 court. Charlotte then flipped the momentum to its side by leveling the completed matches at 1-1 when the No. 1 duo of Kaavya Sawhney and Ruxi Schech clinched a 7-6 (3) decision over Liz Massie and Jenna Vroman.
