CHARLOTTE — The ITA Sectional Championships are another chance for Sara Suchankova to continue her fall season.
Charlotte's singles standout earned her way to the event and has a chance at a spot in the NCAA Individual Championships next. The first obstacle she'll face at Chapel Hill is Virginia's Elaine Chervinsky who was ranked No. 74 in the ITA Preseason Singles Rankings.
Her section of the Main Draw also features Duke's Katie Codd and NC State's Mia Slama. Six athletes from the ITA Sectional Championships will qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships, split between the Main Draw's semifinalists and two quarterfinal playoff winners.
