CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's (SAAC) Executive Board spent Friday traveling around the city of Charlotte, donating over 800 pounds of items to four different locations. Items donated were collected from December 2018, after the SAAC Holiday Drive, through mid-August.
PARTICIPANTS
Three members of the executive board assisted Charlotte 49ers Director of Student-Athlete Development Chris Everett with process of loading, delivering and unloading the items throughout the day. Those student-athletes included Ethan Earhart (baseball), Riley Felts (women's track & field) and Ellinor Sudow (women's golf).
DONATION LOCATIONS
The group went to four charities around town, dropping off different items at each.
