CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the second-straight season, senior Sydney Rowan represents the Charlotte volleyball program on this year's Conference USA all-academic team announced by league officials on Tuesday afternoon. Rowan earned her well-deserved spot on the list thanks to a 3.973 GPA in Systems Engineering pairing with her stellar on-court career.
"Sydney is an erudite student-athlete," began Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "She pours out her best every day on the court and in the classroom. We are so proud to have her honored for her accomplishments as she completes her degree in Systems Engineering.
