BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Junior Sydney Rowan put up 20 kills on Saturday afternoon leading Charlotte volleyball to a 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-17, 25-23) victory over Butler to wrap up the Bowling Green Invitational.
KEY OFFENSE
The 49ers hit .310 in the opening set followed by .366 in the third to help gain the advantage over the Bulldogs. Charlotte hit .253 as a team led by Rowan's 20 and .370 hitting percentage. Tyra Galloway also posted double-digits with 11 and a .556 hitting afternoon. Annika Wetterstrom guided the offense with 44 assists to set a new career high.
