HARRISONBURG, Va. - Lindsey Walljasper held the No. 22 team in the country to just three runs and Imani Rochelle had a two-hit day, but the Charlotte 49ers (27-16) fell in a close battle with the James Madison Dukes (31-1), 3-0, at Veterans Memorial Park on Wednesday evening.
Five 49ers collected a hit in the game with Rochelle leading the pack after going 2-for-2 with two singles hit off the centerfield wall. Bailey Vannoy, Spenser Gray, Kourtney Gremillion and Ashleigh Washington also collected a hit against JMU.
