CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis will look to pick up its second-straight victory when it finalizes the road portion of its regular-season schedule at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Spartanburg, South Carolina, against USC Upstate.
The 49ers improved to 6-10 this spring after a thrilling 4-3 triumph at UNCW Thursday, using a three-set win from sophomore Pierina Imparato to lock up the victory. It was one of four singles wins in a team rally after the Niners dropped the doubles point.
Imparato's triumph was her team-leading eighth of the spring, edging her one ahead of junior Tai Martin and freshman Rocio Safont.
