CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Senior Laia Raventós continued her record-breaking month, establishing a new program career mark for assists, and she joined three of her teammates in double-figure scoring as the 49ers topped Bethune-Cookman 73-69 Friday evening inside Halton Arena. The victory gives the Niners three straight and improves them to 6-1 on their home court this season.

Raventós fed fellow senior Ka'Neeshia Brown on a slip pass with 34 seconds left in the second quarter to overtake Ny Hammonds (2011-14) for the school's all-time record. The Spanish star finished the night with three assists, upping her career tally to 499, and a team-best 16 points.
