The Charlotte 49ers women’s basketball made it past Marshall in the opening round of the conference tournament and now are slated to face Louisiana Tech in the quarterfinals.

Charlotte has seen the Lady Techsters once before this season when they traveled down to Baton Rouge and lost 80-54. The senior duo of Ciara Gregory and Lefty Webster combined for 35 points. Gregory connected on six shots from behind the arc in her 24-point campaign.Webster came close to recording a double-double with 13 rebounds and nine points.
Grace Hunter also contributed 11 points and Laia Raventos dished out nine assists.
