Coming off their second victory of the season, the Charlotte 49ers host the Georgetown Hoyas at Time Warner Cable Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 22. The 49ers played Georgetown last season at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C., losing in a tight contest 81-78. Braxton Ogbueze is the lone player on this year’s squad to play against the Hoyas. Ogbueze played 29 minutes, scoring 12 points on 3-7 shooting. Perhaps Charlotte has the upper-hand on Georgetown, knocking the Hoyas out in the first round of the 1997 NCAA Tournament. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
