CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The annual preseason notebook for the Charlotte women's basketball program has returned as the 49ers nearing the end of their countdown to the start of the season. Let's catch everyone up on the latest news and notes surrounding the program.

Charlotte hits the floor for the first time in 2018-19 when it plays host to Chowan in exhibition action Saturday. The two teams will tip-off inside Halton Arena at 4 p.m. Admission is free to all patrons. As has been done in year's past, the exhibition will feature no external broadcast of any sort: radio, stats, video, etc.
