Rain and lightning took away Charlotte women's soccer's second practice session on Saturday. The afternoon time slot is reserved for set pieces, but a film meeting was all the weather allowed, and the 49ers didn't let gloomy clouds dampen their mood.
Laughs could be heard through the hallways of the Wells Fargo Fieldhouse as they watched the tape. The videos were inherently negative — mistakes made during training that needed to be shored up. But, just like they ignored the negative effects of an August storm, the joy came anyway.
