SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Behind a season-high 12 strikeouts from the pitching staff, Charlotte Baseball picked up a 4-2 victory over Wofford in the first midweek game of the 2025 season on Tuesday evening (Feb. 18).
Five different Charlotte (2-1) arms toed the rubber on Tuesday night, holding Wofford (3-1) to just two runs on five hits to hand the Terriers their first loss of the season. All five hits came in the first five innings as Adam Stanton and Joseph Taylor combined to shut the Terriers down across the last 4+ frames while only allowing one runner to reach between the two of them.
