TUCSON, Ariz. – A pair of outstanding starts to the 2020 season led to Charlotte baseball's Dominic Pilolli and David McCabe earning Freshmen All-American honors from Collegiate Baseball. The duo accounts for half of the selections from Conference USA and marks the fourth time in program history at-least two players have received the honor.
PILOLLI'S PERFORMANCE
The outfielder led the 49ers hitting .403 on the year with a couple of home runs and 17 RBI through 17 games. The hitting clip was fourth overall in C-USA, the best among the league's rookies and sixth-best among all freshmen nationwide.
