CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte redshirt senior guard Jade Phillips earned three separate accolades Monday, split among two organizations as she continues her dominating play to begin the season. The Raleigh native was selected as the College Sports Madness National High-Major Player of the Week and as its Conference USA Player of the Week in addition to being named to the Conference USA Athletic Honor Roll, a decision made by the league's voting panel.
NATIONAL HONOR
Phillips became the first 49ers player this season to garner the National High-Major Player of the Week award, which is based upon the top player in eight conferences from around the country.
