CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Former Charlotte women's basketball standout Jade Phillips is moving her professional career from Portugal to France after inking a new deal with Escaudain Basket Feminin for the upcoming campaign. It will be her second professional season after playing initially with Quinta dos Lombos in Carcavelos, Portugal, in September 2020.
IN FRANCE
Her new team is based near Saint-Amand-les-Eaux in northern France, almost on the border with Belgium. It plays in the Nationale Feminine 1 Division of the Fédération Française de BasketBall.
IN PORTUGAL
Phillips saw action in 21 of the 28 games played by Quinta dos Lombos this past year, averaging 10.
