INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Recent Charlotte graduate Haley Pace, an incredible athlete for the 49ers' softball team, has been selected as a conference-level honoree for the 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year award.
The NCAA Woman of the Year honors the academic achievements, athletics excellence, community service and leadership of outstanding female college athletes. The accolade has been around for 28 years, and this year, it received a record 581 nominations. Now, at the conference-level, Pace remains one of 153 honorees for the prestigious award.
"We are all excited for Haley and her conference-level nomination for NCAA Woman of the Year," head softball coach Aimee DeVos said.
