CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The beautiful weather in mid-February permitted the Charlotte women's tennis team to step outside for the first time at home this spring Friday and the 49ers used it to their advantage, dispatching North Carolina A&T 7-0 in the first of two matches at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
"We're very excited to get the win to open the day," head coach Anthony Davison said. "The weather was perfect and our transition outdoors was just as we had hoped, seamless. Now we're turning our attention to our second match of the day which will be a bit more challenging.
