CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Women's Tennis began its Boca Raton trip with a back-and-forth 4-2 loss to No. 29 Florida Atlantic on Friday at the Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center.
The 49ers' other loss came to No. 1 Georgia as part of a 1-2 record in road matches that includes their latest result.
Florida Atlantic started quickly with a win from the No. 1 doubles slot, 6-2, over Sara Suchankova and Amira Badawi. Shona Nakano and Ni Xi saw their perfect start end from No.
