CHARLOTTE — No. 47 Charlotte Women's Tennis continued its standout season at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex with a 4-3 win over William & Mary and a clean, 7-0 sweep over Gardner-Webb on Saturday.
The two-win day brought Charlotte's overall record to 20-4 this season, including a 16-2 record at home, split between LifeTime and Halton-Wagner. The 49ers' sweep over the Bulldogs was their 15th of the spring.
A win in Tuesday's regular-season finale against Wichita State would give the program a tie for its fewest losses in a season in program history — the other came in a 14-4 campaign in 1981-82.
