RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 43 Charlotte women's tennis program, who entered the rankings for the first time in 20 years and only the second time in program history Wednesday, dropped a 5-0 decision to No. 11-ranked North Carolina State. The 49ers faced two nationally-ranked singles players as well as a pair of nationally-ranked doubles duos from the Wolfpack.

Charlotte's No. 43 ranking is its highest in program history and first since a No. 59 spot just over 20 years from its only previous time in the national listings, March 21, 2001.
