CARY, N.C. – The 14th-ranked Charlotte 49ers (6-3-2) and the 16th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels (7-4-4) played a tightly contested second-round NCAA Tournament game, which ended in a 1-1 double-overtime tie, but North Carolina advanced in the Tournament on penalty kicks, 4-1.
