CHARLOTTE – Tim Albin and his Charlotte 49ers will kick off the 2025 season on Friday, August 29 against Appalachian State at the home of the Carolina Panthers - Bank of America Stadium - in the Duke's Mayo Classic, the two schools and the Charlotte Sports Foundation announced on Monday.
Kick time and television designation will be announced at a later date.
Season ticket holders who renewed by January 15 are currently able to take advantage of an exclusive pre-sale window for tickets to the game which begin at $50. UNC Charlotte students will have a special allotment of discounted tickets available for purchase beginning April 1.
