CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte registered a season high 11 hits in game two of Sunday's xoubleheader at Daughtridge Stadium but lost both to Louisiana Tech (23-17, 10-5 C-USA) by scores of 11-2 and 9-4.
Meredith Harris and Emma Ocker secured multi-hit games in the nightcap for the Niners (11-26, 5-10 C-USA). Becca Shipper smashed a 1-0 pitch off the scoreboard beyond the right center wall for her first home run of the year and the third in her career.
Harris recorded her eighth multi-hit game and third three-hit game of the season.
