CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Niners Softball extends their win streak to five in a row as they close out the Charlotte Invitational with a 3-1 win over Lehigh to earn a perfect weekend at home.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After an offensive explosion to earn two wins last night, Charlotte had the pitching lead the way in their final game of the Charlotte Invitational.
Avery Shamblin started in the circle for the Niners, pitching four complete innings earning the win before being replaced with Abby Gawlinksi at the start of the fifth who went on to pitch the remaining three innings to earn the save.
