CHARLOTTE, N.C. - 11 different 49ers collected a hit in Saturday afternoon's doubleheader as the Charlotte 49ers (25-9, 9-2 C-USA) swept the doubleheader and clinched the series against the FIU Panthers (10-17, 2-4 C-USA) by scores of 5-3 and 12-4 at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium.
The 49ers had two double-digit hit games after collecting 10 hits in the first game and 14 in the second. Bailey Vannoy was the lone Niner to have two multi-hit games after going 5-for-8 with a double and home run. Vannoy now has a nation-leading 17 home runs and team-leading 10 home runs on the year.
