CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball will look to get back on track hosting Kent State in a three-game series at Hayes Stadium starting Friday afternoon. The 49ers have dropped three-straight, the Golden Flashes have won three-straight as February comes to an end.
Charlotte (4-4) suffered a rollercoaster type of loss on Tuesday in a 5-3 defeat by Morehead State. The Niners erased a 2-0 deficit on a Carter Foster solo home run, Eagles fielding error and Josh Haney RBI single only to have Morehead State score two in the eighth and one in the ninth stealing the victory.
