After dropping the doubles point and the first and sixth singles matches, Charlotte faced an ominous 3-0 deficit in its Friday morning match with previously unbeaten North Florida.
No bother.
Charlotte (6-5) swept the remaining singles matches, including the clinching three-setter at number three, to rally to a 4-3 victory over the visiting Ospreys (5-1) at the Halton-Wagner Complex.
BACKED TO THE WALL
Trailing 3-0, Charlotte picked up a 6-2; 7-6 win at #2 singles by Benjamin Wayand to curb the Ospreys hot start and give the 49ers their first point of the day.
