CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis earned its second-straight doubles sweep and then used the momentum to take four out of six singles matches to lock up a 5-2 triumph over Presbyterian Saturday inside Life Time Fitness in south Charlotte.
DOUBLES SWEEP FOR SECOND TIME
The day opened with the 49ers wasting little time in doubles action, winning on all three courts for their second-straight sweep this spring. The No. 2 tandem of senior Rocio Safont and freshman Emma Wilkins started things off with a 6-2 victory over the Blue Hose's Jessica Leeman and Lucianna Piedra.
