CHARLOTTE – As Charlotte Men's Basketball (8-15, 1-9 AAC) prepares to take on Rice (12-11, 3-7) this Saturday (Feb. 8) afternoon in American Athletic Conference action, the 49ers will also take the time to honor the winningest coach in program history, Bobby Lutz.
Charlotte will honor its program legend by raising his name into the rafters of Halton Arena at halftime. The game, which takes place during Alumni Reunion Weekend, was officially announced as Bobby Lutz Day on December 30, 2024.
