CHARLOTTE – A pair of first-year lacrosse programs are set to meet on Friday night at Jerry Richardson Stadium as Charlotte (5-7, 0-3 AAC) hosts league-leading South Florida (9-2, 3-0) for a 6 p.m. first draw.
Admission to the game is free.
The Niners have opened their conference slate against the heart of the league's roster and will seek their first conference victory against a program on a six-game winning streak in South Florida. The 49ers enter the contest boasting one of the nation's top scoring offenses at 14.8 points per game (18th nationally) and the second-ranked offense in the AAC.
