Niners Host C-USA Men’s Soccer Tournament

Charlotte, N.C. - The 19th-ranked Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team (12-3-1, C-USA: 6-2-0) will host the Conference USA Tournament this week at Transamerica Field, November 7-11. The 49ers, which finished the regular-season tied for second in Conference USA, are the third-seed in the Conference USA Tournament. The 49ers play longtime conference foe UAB (6-8-3, C-USA: 2-5-1) in the quarterfinals, Wednesday, November 7 at 7 p.m. Fourth-seed FIU (7-9-0, C-USA: 5-3-0) plays fifth-seed Marshall (7-8-3, C-USA: 3-3-2) in the first game of the tournament, Wednesday, November 7 at 2 p.m. Second-seed 24^th-ranked Old Dominion (10-4-2, C-USA: 6-2-0) plays seventh-seed New Mexico (4-11-1, C-USA: 2-5-1) in the other quarterfinal game, Wednesday, November 7 at 4:30 p.
