CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's basketball held visiting Florida Atlantic to just four points in the second quarter and used that as a springboard to a 68-47 victory Saturday afternoon inside Halton Arena. The win upped the 49ers' season total to double digits, while also evening the team's Conference USA mark.

Sophomore Mariah Linney finished as the lone Charlotte (10-6, 2-2 C-USA) player in double-figure scoring, pouring in 14, while five others were on the cusp. Redshirt sophomore Christian Hithe added nine points, while senior Laia Raventós, redshirt junior Jade Phillips, sophomore Octavia Jett-Wilson and freshman Maddie Moore all had eight points in the balanced attack.
