CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Niners' seven-game conference win streak ended Thursday night when Charlotte fell to UTSA 5-2 to open up a three-game conference series.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Roadrunners got off to a quick start in the top of the first going up 3-0 nice and early when Sabrina Wick hit a three-run homer to center field after UTSA managed to get two on with two outs.
UTSA scored two more in the top of the fourth after loading the bases. Charlotte answered back with two runs in the bottom of the fourth beginning with a solo shot from Jenna Lord (19).
