BOCA RATON, Fla. – Charlotte Softball falls to No. 22 FAU in heartbreaking walk-off fashion to open the three-game series down in Boca, despite getting out to a 2-0 lead.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Pitching from both sides was lights out to start the game with both sides scoreless through five. Charlotte broke up the Owls' no-hitter in the top of the sixth inning with a single from Brelyn O'Hearn to get the offense rolling. Two batters later Jenna Lord unleashed her 12th homer of the season to put the Niners ahead 2-0.
