Charlotte, NC - The Charlotte 49ers dropped a tightly contested game to the Georgetown Hoyas 62-59 at Time Warner Cable Arena on Tuesday night. The game featured 15 lead changes with both teams going back and forth all night.
“It was a hard fought game,” Charlotte 49ers head coach Mark Price said. “I thought from an intensity and effort level, we were great. Progress is being made. I told these guys at the beginning of the season, it’s not easy to win a college basketball game. You have to learn how to win and how to how to close things out.
