RUSTON, La. – Katie Manring and Lizzy Birch both homered, while Maggie Cannon shut Louisiana Tech's offense down in game two, but the 49ers fell victim on Saturday in both games. La Tech took game one 10-3 and game two 5-2.
GAME ONE-
Louisiana Tech (28-9, 8-2) plated three runs in the bottom of the third to take a 3-0 lead on two hits and an error.
Later, in the fifth, the Lady Techsters collected another three-run inning, which started with a solo home run from Morgan Turkoly.
