BOONE, N.C. -- The Charlotte 49ers women's soccer team picked up a 1-1 draw with App State on Sunday evening (Aug. 25) after a second-half equalizer from Macey Bader.
The win is Charlotte's (0-3-1) first result of the season and keeps the Niners unbeaten against App State (1-0-2) in program history, now holding a record of 6-0-1 all-time against the Mountaineers.
Bader slotted home a rebound from a shot by Payton Patrick right before that, giving Bader her second tally of the season and Patrick her first assist after leading the team in the category a year ago with eight helpers last year.
