Charlotte, N.C. - Four different 49ers scored as the 19th-ranked Charlotte 49ers (11-3-1, C-USA: 5-2-0) defeated Florida Atlantic (2-11-0, C-USA: 1-6-0), 4-0, at Transamerica Field Wednesday night to stretch the team's winning streak to five games. With the win, the 49ers improved to 8-0 at home this season with eight home shutouts.
"We started slowly but the goals from Patrick (Hogan) and Joe (Brito) really settled us down right before the half," said Charlotte 49ers head coach Kevin Langan. "I was really happy with the second half performance. We challenged the guys to come out in the second half and really get going like we know we can and I thought we did.
